![]() Using the DRL circuit requires the need for a fuse tap in the underhood fuse box since the wires that come out of there are combined low beams and DRL. I did the ignition source and put in a dash mounted switch so I could turn them off or on as I wanted. The CCFL can be wired into DRL circuit or just a constant ignition source. Some aftermarket projectors may do ok as indicated by Ryan pends on the manufacturer. That is my direct first hand experience.so I was passing that along. And the light output is way different in intensity and crispness of cutoff through the Morimoto one.using the same bulb. I had the aftermarket projector and Morimoto H1 projector side by side and saw the difference. A true HID projector has a wider bowl which captures the light from the HID bulb source correctly and reflects it though the lens correctly. The lens (fisheye thing) look very similar.but the reflector bowl is dimensionally very different. There are many projector's (the fisheye you called it) that are made for halogen and not HID. You can see the quality right away when you start unboxing the stuff. Sounds like you are on the right track now. Well your initial post indicated you were questioning how it worked so I was just trying to explain that some since I have done it. So, maybe that is what I need to convert everything, we will see once I get a reply back. I notice on their website for the H1: Elite HID Kit, they have an option for a H11 Relay Harness. I also just sent MoriMoto an Email about this. So, either need to figure out how to use an H11 Bulb in a H1 Housing, or convert the H11 Truck harness to the H1 Ballast.ĭoes anyone know of possibly an adapter that I can put into the housing so I can use H11 Bulbs? I can also get the H1 HID kit, but will need to find an adapter to go from the H1 Ballast, to the H11 Truck Harness. ![]() The Truck harness is for H11 Bulbs, so I can get an H11 HID kit but will need to figure out how to get the H11 bulbs to work in the H1 Housing, and would be the best answer so I don't have to worry about any wiring. I am going to get the MoriMoto 35w 5500K Elite kit, but am trying to figure out the best way to do this. They have the Projector Low-beam which I intend to use HID's in. I just picked up some aftermarket headlight housings which I really like. OK guys, seems like almost all Aftermarket headlight housings, for the NNBS at least, use H1 Bulbs.
